DEONTOLOGICAL SKILLS AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF MEDICAL WORKERS PROFESSIONAL TRAINING TO THE REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC INCURABLE DISEASES

Abstract

The article presents main criteria of the concept of professionally competent health care worker and the main methods of instilling ethical skills to preclinical training, the use of modern innovative technologies for the development of medicine bachelors’ communicative skills as an integral part of the health workers training in rehabilitation of patients with chronic incurable diseases.

A modern health worker should promptly carry out restoration and rehabilitation work, which is largely due to the invasive diagnostic methods, multi-step nature of the treatment, and with numerous negative effects, which are observed in the terminally ill. Such negative effects are anatomic-functional disorders, various immunologic and metabolic disorders, severe psychological stress, stigmatization, impaired social functioning and the quality of life, partial disability or permanent disability.

Ethical skills are associated with the formation of students’ communicative skills. Therefore, a socio-communicative competence is the necessary component of common cultural and professional development of the future health care worker, because it provides personal and professional formation of the future specialist and optimizes the process of professional activity.

We offer the professional competence for the medical worker of an average link (bachelor of medicine, nurses) to consider as the integrative quality of personality that is determined by the combination of professional knowledge and skills, personal and professional qualities that ensure internal readiness to carry out professional activity in accordance with the qualifi cation requirements and ethical norms, which is manifested in realization of personal potential, enhancing the experience and the desire for continuous self-education.
