METHODS OF ACTIVATION THE PUPILS’ CREATIVE ACTIVITY IN TERMS OF STEM-EDUCATION

Abstract

The article discussed the methods of activation the pupils’ creative activity in detail. Basing on a large body of research, the views on the concept of “creative activity” have been analyzed. It is determined that a creative activity is an activity of the individual that directs onto the discovering, constructing of the new and unknown. Taking into account the age peculiarities, the problem of developing the primary school pupils’ creativity is described. The attention is focused on the theory of solving inventive tasks aimed at forming the pupils’ creative and research abilities. The factors affecting the development of creative abilities of pupils as intelligence, thinking and cognitive activity are characterized.
