THE CHARACTEROLOGICAL FEATURES OF NON-FORMAL EDUCATION: SOCIAL AND PEDAGOGIC APPROACH

Abstract

The article deals with the topical problem solution of coordination the widespread in the pedagogic circulation definitions with the innovative category of non-formal education for Ukrainian scientific opinion. According to this, the author defines the different approaches to the definition of informal education as the pedagogic category. It is noted that there is its affiliation with such definitions as «adult education», «permanent education», «lifelong education», «informal education», «informal education», «extracurricular education» and «public education». The system of characterological features of non-formal education as the necessary conditions of its representation uniqueness and usage in the pedagogic literature is the subject of the research. The key task of the article is the analyses of the scientific literature in relation to the essence and content of the concept «non-formal education» and its characterological features accentuation. The material of the research presents the comparative analysis techniques of the categories, which are related to the concept «non-formal education». As a result, the author analyzes common and different characteristics of the category of analyses and presents the compulsive and variable-based (which differs according to organizers and participants) characterological features of non-formal education. The research proves that the non-formal education is of paramount importance in modern Ukrainian nationality and defines its social and pedagogic values. The obtained results serve as the important step to the methodological approach analysis of non-formal education substantiation and implementation; as the main stages accentuation of its formation in Ukraine. The learning and systematization of the experience formation of non-formal education in different social institutions is revealed by the author.
